Problem
The call for transformation is clear, and many of us feel it resonate in our hearts. Yet it’s a challenge to navigate through old-style leadership, rigid systems and business as usual — especially in a world that urgently needs new ways of thinking, leading and living. Green Genes believes that true change starts from within. That’s why founder Marielle van Hemert was looking for someone to co-create a powerful deck inspired by the Inner Development Goals (IDGs) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
My solution
Together with Marielle, I co-developed the concept, tone of voice and all copy for a 40-card deck written in English. The cards combine introspective prompts with clear, activating language and invite users into personal reflection and systemic awareness. We worked closely on the full content: card texts, the accompanying booklet, IDG- and SDG-inspired reflections, and the back-of-box copy — all designed to support conscious leadership from the inside out.
Now used across the world, the cards support a wide range of practices — from personal development and 1:1 coaching, to mediation, working with people with a migration background, and shaping organisational strategy.
