Problem
Eating disorders are a growing problem in the Netherlands. Therefore, we searched for a digital solution to provide parents and professionals with first aid and support in the difficult and emotional process of recognizing, acknowledging, diagnosing, and treating (early-stage) eating disorders.
My solution
While working at Greenberry, I collaborated with K-EET (Chain Approach Eating Disorders) to create copy for the website for first aid in eating disorders: FirstEETkit.nl. I walked into the hospital to speak with doctors and patients about the problems, interviewed experts, and considered the sensitivity of certain words in the copy. I also contributed to the UX, visuals, and concept of the website.
FirstEETkit won a Silver Dutch Interactive Award in 2022 in the Digital for Good category.
