UNICEF

Problem

As the world’s largest children’s rights organization, UNICEF provides assistance in acute emergencies and long-term support. Unfortunately, many disasters occur, and there is always a need for funds to help children, so they are always looking for more (regular) donors.

My solution

At UNICEF, I had a dual role and worked in the general communication team of UNICEF Netherlands, where I wrote urgent press releases and posted them on the website, created informative web texts, and wrote blogs on various topics.

Additionally, I worked in the target group team Intellectual Culture Enthusiasts. This was an older target group from which we aimed to attract more regular donors. Here, I wrote emails, created donation flows on the website, and produced texts and videos at events such as the annual North Sea Jazz Festival to recruit more donors for the good cause.
